“ Came here with a work colleague while in Vegas, and Peter Luger absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment we sat down, the experience felt like classic steakhouse perfection with a Vegas twist. We started with the bread basket--and honestly, it deserves its own shoutout. A generous variety, all fresh and warm, with something for every kind of carb-lover. Definitely a strong first impression. For appetizers, we went with the thick-cut bacon and mushrooms. The bacon was everything you'd hope for--smoky, rich, and meaty with that perfect char. The mushrooms added a nice earthy depth and paired beautifully with everything else. Then came the main event: the Porterhouse, medium rare. Cooked to perfection. Juicy, tender, and just the right amount of crust on the outside. Every bite delivered that signature Luger flavor--bold, buttery, and unforgettable. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the whole vibe of the place balanced old-school charm with upscale energy. Pricey, yes--but for a special night or a celebratory dinner, absolutely worth it. Would come back in a heartbeat. One of the best steakhouse experiences I've had in Vegas. ”
“ Visited here twice during my stay. 1st visit, started off with a martini. Perfectly mixed. Soon after, their bread basket arrived. Good stuff. I had an off the menu Ribeye along with their baked potato. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare, served on a hot plate already sliced. The server places some slices on your dinner plate to start off. Steak was top notch. The potato was the size of a small football and loaded with lardons of bacon. I could only put a dent in it. Need to mention that their service makes the rating five stars. It was outstanding, not overbearing. 2nd visit I had their signature steak along with their mushrooms. Once again, excellent steak, mushrooms, and service. Everything here is expensive but you're in Vegas where everything is expensive. Live it up and treat yourself. My pics aren't the best but...... Cheers to all ”
“ Quick update..... We're going back in a couple weeks! I cannot wait to have another lip-smacking Tomahawk with our friends, and enjoy the restaurant's atmosphere and wonderful service! I have been wanting another delicious steak: so did our friends and well, we decided to fly out to Las Vegas and get together again. I'm sure it will be another great meal, and pictures will definitely be posted !! ”
“ I had always heard good things about this restaurants and finally had the opportunity to dine in it. The food was delicious, steak was cooked perfectly to my taste. The service was excellent, our waiter was attentive and intuitive always anticipating our every need. The ambience was perfect, nice dim lights and soft background music. I really enjoyed it. ”
“ The staff was spot on. I waited for nothing, and the recommendations on the menu by Melissa at the bar were so very helpful! When the steak and sides arrived, I was amazed with the presentation! The servers warned me about the very hot plate, and then places the first two pieces of steak on my plate and added a spoonful of butter. The dinner was the best I've ever eaten. But it got better. This steakhouse has nothing to hide, and they are proud of their product. After I told Melissa of how impressed I was with this experience, she made it even better by asking the chef (Frank) to give me a tour of the kitchen and the dry aging room. How very clean and organized the place is behind the scenes! I wish everyone could see what I saw. I'm definitely coming back here each time I return to Las Vegas, and I'm bringing friends!!! Thank you Melissa and chef Frank!! ”
“ This place is so good! I suggest going during lunch. They have a power lunch menu where you can get a three course menu. I shared everything with my husband! First course: bacon and Cesar salad Both were very good. Bacon is extremely good, I wanted more Second course: steak and burger The steak comes out sizzling! And they plate the steak quickly so it doesn't get over cooked! The burger was good. Extremely big! I think half a burger was more than enough for me. Sides: spinach and fries The sides were good but I was getting too full from the entrees and appetizers. Nothing amazing about the sides, just normal. Third course (dessert): ice cream sundae Very good but wish there wasn't so much whipped cream and more chocolate sauce! Oh yea don't fill up on the bread basket they give you to start with or else you will be too full! Also if they don't give you the power lunch menu ask for it (that's what we had to do). ”
“ Went for the the amazing power lunch and it did not disappoint. Started with some fresh bread and the clear favorite was the onion bread with onions on the outside and also on the inside. We decided to split the appetizers and entree's. The Caesar salad was small but shareable. Delicious. Next up, we went with the crab cake sandwich and lobster roll. Crab cake sandwich was very tasty. Great portion size. The lobster roll was on the smaller side and was very salty. Would not order this again. We had meaty sized fries and one of the best creamed spinach sides I've ever had. Perfect!!! Cooked in chicken broth. We had the chocolate Sunday for dessert. Too much whipped cream and not enough fudge. Overall, the meal was very good. I have to say, that we had one of the best servers I've ever had. Jason was truly amazing!!! Thanks for taking such great care of us. ”
“ A few weeks ago, my friend and I tried out this branch of Peter Luger inside Caesar's Palace. The Vegas location definitely had a better ambiance than its counterpart. We ordered the steak for two medium rare, extra thick sizzling bacon, iceberg wedge salad, cheeseburger and German fried potatoes. The bacon actually came with three pieces whereas the one in Brooklyn only came with one piece. As always, the bacon was smoky and delicious. The iceberg wedge salad came with chopped tomatoes, bacon and crumbled bleu cheese. It was tasty. They cut the cheeseburger in half and also was accompanied with another slab of bacon. i thought the cheeseburger was on the dry side but still good. The sizzling steak for two was on par like the one in Brooklyn. The steak was so buttery and tender. The German fried potatoes was also delicious as usual. For dessert, we got the apple strudel with a side of schlag. The apple strudel was average but the schlag was so good! It was definitely a heart clogging meal but very good. Service was exceptional and friendly, and I'm glad they take credit cards in this location. ”
